Frosted Maverick (Ollie)
Hunters, Dressage, Trails or Eventing!
7yo 14.2hh Blue Roan Welsh x Quarter Horse Gelding
Ollie is really starting to blossom under saddle and is a true joy to ride. Incredible hunter prospect, he's one that's going to remember the lines, go into the arena and win! Comfortable gaits, more woah than go. Very quarter horse minded. Rides like a horse and does not feel or act like a pony at all! He's super thick! Rider in video is 5'2". Turns on the forehand and haunches, leg yields and side passes. Learning to bend and go into the bridle. Free jumped to 3'9" first time through the chute and the video is of his first time jumping x-rails. He seems to really enjoy jumping and is very point and shoot! His siblings have done very well in hunters, dressage and eventing. Excellent hacking out and on trails. Happy to lead or follow, not spooky, goes through water, over bridges etc. He's one of my homebreds, out of Zacks Maverick Zip (QH) and by Tide Creek Jack Frost (Section B Welsh). Great for vet and farrier, vacuuming, bathing, fly spray, clipping, loading, hauling etc. Cross ties, straight ties and has excellent ground manners for days. Does best with a consistent ride schedule, I try to ride him every other day but have some longer periods in between. He has about 90 days under saddle with some significant breaks in between due to my schedule and moving from the west coast. Looking for a rider that will nurture his blossoming personality, continue to bring him along and let him shine! No nervous or beginner riders please. A great home is of upmost importance. No vices or bad habits. Clean legs, no maintenance, currently barefoot but has worn shoes for trails. UTD on everything. Out with a mixed herd and easy to have in the barn. This guy's going to be one to watch in whatever discipline he goes into! $18,500
Only the Roanly (Braveness)
Eventing, Dressage, Hunters!
3yo 14.3hh (and growing) Buckskin Roan Welsh x TB Gelding
How cute is he? Have you ever seen a buckskin roan? This guy is just stunning and athletic to boot! My son named him Braveness when he was a baby because nothing phases him. He should make an amazing eventer but he'd clean up as well in hunters or dressage as his siblings have. Currently sticks 14.3hh and string tested to 15.1hh. He's had the proper education for a 3yo. He quietly ground ties for grooming, saddling and bridling. Ground drives and I've laid on his back a few times (he was saying hop on, let's go)! Easy to load and haul, great in new places. Will stand quietly without a halter in the field for brushing, picking up feet, blanketing and unblanketing. Super friendly and in your pocket....has removed peoples hats and watches! He's got a playful, 3yo TB gelding personality but at the same time is sensitive and smart. UTD on everything. Great for vet, farrier, vacuuming, bathing, clipping, fly sprays, tries to eat the wormer and the tube. Clean legs, no issues. No bad habits or vices. Incredibly friendly and loveable! He's one of my homebreds, out of West Coast Romance (16.1hh TB) and by Tide Creek Jack Frost (13.2hh Welsh Section B). Registered Half Welsh. Lifetime USEF. Out with a mixed herd his entire life and easy to have in the barn. Fabulous home is a must! $18,000
